CHOWAN HAWKS BASEBALL

Support Chowan Baseball TODAY!

Chowan Hawks Baseball

Your Chowan University Hawks baseball team is holding a team fundraiser. Each player has been asked to raise $550.00 through donations from family, friends, and/or businesses for this fundraiser. The funds raised will go toward the purchase of uniforms, gear for players, and team equipment, as well as upgrades to player development tools and Hawkins Field.

In 2019, we became members of Conference Carolinas, an 11-team conference that is spread out through North and South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia.  Much of our budget is spent on travel costs; therefore, we are in need of additional funds to make things more comfortable for our players. In addition, continual facility upgrades are needed in order to help us stay up to par with the teams in our conference.  Finally, with your help, we can continue to maintain and upgrade our player development tools, such as pitching machines and metrics tools like Rapsodo.

Over the last 11 years, this fundraiser has brought in a tremendous amount of support for the baseball team and has played a crucial part in keeping our program moving forward.  A few examples of how previous funds from this fundraiser alone have helped our program include:

  • dugout renovations (2013 and 2016)
  • new field tarp (2014)
  • new outdoor hitting facility (2015 and upgraded in 2022)
  • new backstop/viewing area for Hawk fans (2015 and upgraded in 2019)
  • major playing surface renovations (2022)

Thank you in advance for your support of the Hawks with your tax deductible donation.  100% of the money raised goes directly to the baseball program and impacts our success immediately.
